Welcome Skateboards just dropped a bangin' new full-length, Sugar High, and it's an absolute breath of fresh air from beginning to end.
It's goofy, it's ripping and it's full of personality—basically everything you'd expect from the Welcome squad. And you know the soundtrack matches the vibe! This one was worth the wait. Take a look:
The video features Bevup, Filthy Pond, Ryan Townley, Jakob Beaver, Jake Yanko, Laird Brunson, Kasci Woolf, Nora Vasconcellos and Jamie Sedo, along Welcome's newest recruits, Nick Garcia and Ryan Reyes. Boom! The team is looking as strong as ever right now, if you ask me, and this video couldn't have come at a better time.
Welcome has never shied away from their roots. Since the beginning, they've always done things their own way and it shows in everything they do—from their graphics to their team to video offerings like Sugar High.
There's a certain energy that comes with Welcome edits, and we definitely feel it here.
In short, Sugar High is "a short film that celebrates the most important parts of skating... fun and your friends," Welcome wrote on YouTube. "Please have a good time all the time." Roger that!
