adidas Skateboarding just dropped a fresh new colorway of the Shmoofoil Slip from the mind of Mark Gonzales. If you're gonna skate a slip-on, it might as well be Gonz-approved, right? Right.

"These adidas Shmoofoil Shoes combine two of Mark Gonzales' favorite adidas trainers to create a classic slip-on style built for skateboarding," adidas mentions on its site. "With Shmoofoil graphics designed by The Gonz, they offer a premium suede upper, grippy Vulcanized outsole and molded sockliner designed for comfort and out-of-the-box performance."
Again, I know this new colorway isn't necessarily going to turn heads, but maybe that's the point? Personally, I'll always appreciate a simple, functional shoe built for skating, chilling, or whatever your day throws at you. Count me in.
There's been no shortage of heat coming from the Three Stripes camp so far this year and these are certainly no exception. I love a good slip-on and the Shmoofoil Slip seems to check all the boxes.
