I remember being in middle school and seeing kids cut their shoelaces with scissors just to make it look like they skated their shoes—and I’m kinda getting that same vibe from the latest OTW by Vans drop. Ha!
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not hating. But like people who buy pre-ripped jeans or “vintage” tees that already have holes in them, it’s always struck me as a little funny.

Staying true to their ethos, the OTW by Vans line continues to push the boundaries of design and functionality. Nothing is ever very ordinary, and that certainly isn't a bad thing. In fact, it's sort of the point. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are something to admire and every drop seems to get people talking.
As we see, one pair features a bold floral update with metal rivets and premium texture, while the one I was just talking about features a broken-in look and distressed canvas finish. These aren't your average Old Skools!
