These days, it seems Paul Rodriguez's door is always open. The dude continues to give us little sneak peaks of his daily routine, behind-the-scenes clips from legendary parts and every once in a while, we even get some shoe leaks—and today, that's why we're here.
On a recent YouTube livestream, Paul did an exclusive Nike SB unboxing, and amongst it all we got a first look at two of his upcoming P-Rod 1 colorways that are set to hit shops in 2026. It quickly goes from an unboxing to a proper leak, and both pairs are bound to get people talking. Take a look:
Okay, so I'm not a big sports guy, but I am from San Diego. If we're talking baseball, you know we're talking Padres around here! So the "Dodgers" colorway is debatable, but I will say this—if they were just blue/grey P-Rod 1s, that would be a proper colorway.
But the "All Brown" colorway? That's something I think we can all get behind. A major nod to Tom Penny and the glory days of éS, this colorway is oozing with nostalgia and looks so good. Should we shoutout that OG brown Reynolds Emerica as well? Yes, absolutely. Regardless, the all brown just screams skateboarding. P-Rod knows!
Skateboarders being YouTubers is very common these days, but P-Rod has been leading the charge for quite a while. A true professional. And honestly, I'm happy to admit that I sit here and watch most of his videos—even when they stretch past the hour mark.
I grew up admiring Paul's skating like everyone else. His In Bloom part—classic TransWorld video for those of you who might not know (you should)—will always be one of my favs, but of course his Yeah Right! part, all his Plan B and Primitive stuff...the list goes on. Legendary. Groundbreaking. Timeless as hell.
