It's a new year and that means new stuff! New boards, new videos, new gear and of course, new shoes! Adidas just shared their latest Busenitz Vulc II in a fresh, clean colorway on Instagram and at first glance, I'm absolutely backing them. This is what a proper skateboarding shoe looks like.

Simple, tough... and ready to skate! Get a closer look below:

"Team-tested and meticulously perfected," adidas mentions in the caption. "The Busenitz Vulc II features GeoFlex tread for superior flex and grip, a durable suede upper reinforced with dual Adituff underlays, a molded AdiPRENE sock liner, and a GeoFit collar that provides all-day comfort."

Hate to drop the cliche, "If it works for this person it'll work for you," but let's be real. If they work for a skateboarder like Dennis Busenitz, well, there's nothing else that needs to be said.

The Three Stripes squad hit us with their fair share of gems in 2024 and it appears that 2025 is already off to a great start! I love when skate shoes can basically double as "nice shoes" and shoes to simply get rad in. Wear these out and about, or just give them your worst and tear 'em to shreds!

All that matters is that these, like all adidas skate shoes, are built and designed with skateboarders and skateboarding in mind. We all know that no shoes out there are literally indestructible (what fun would that be, anyways?), but plenty of brands certainly try their best to come close.

The first Busenitz signature model was an absolute hit—still is. But if you're in the market for a little upgrade, look no further! Available now at finer skate shops across the globe as well as the adidas site.

Oh, and raise your hand if you want a new Busenitz video part! I know you can't see me, but mine is raised. We're looking at you adidas.
