Behind the Scenes: Primitive's Last Filming Mission Ahead of December Video Premiere
Join Kyonosuke Yamashita, Aimu Yamazuki, and lensman Eric Iwakura in Taiwan and go behind-the-scenes on some of the sessions shot during the final filming trip for Primitive Skateboarding's upcoming video project, which is dropping this month. Take a look:
This impressive squad has been busy stacking clips for this project the last year or so and I think we can all expect it to be an absolute banger. Kyonosuke and Aimu are both extremely talented skaters and each bring something unique to the table, so I can't wait to see what they've been up to.
Judging by this little BTS glimpse, it looks like they've clearly been keeping busy. Deadline is approaching, though—the pressure is on. But let's be real... have any of these dudes ever under-delivered? As far as I'm concerned, that's an easy nope!
We always know that all our favorite skaters are working on some type of project. I mean, it's their job, after all. But it's always fun to get a little surprise like this too. I mean, I could've assumed Primitive was working on a video with these two, but knowing it's confirmed—and dropping this month, nonetheless—is pretty exciting.
I can appreciate the chemistry between Kyonosuke, Aimu and Eric as well. The skater-filmer relationship is crucial. It's rad to hear them saying they haven't actually felt too much pressure while working on this project. They're just out there doing what they love to do, skating with their friends and stacking clips along the way.
Primitive hasn't set an official premiere date, but it's coming this month either way. We'll post more as we hear more, so keep checking back.
