Tom Penny Skates his Iconic Mini Ramp from Flip's Sorry Video

20 years later, the mini ramp still stands and Tom of course still has the transition skills to rip it.

Definitely didn't see this one coming, but any surfacing of Tom Penny footage is always worth your time. Remember the mini ramp Tom skated in his Flip Sorry part? It was always rumored to be in a barn at his mother's house somewhere in the French countryside. What a wonderful rumor to spread about one of the most talented and mysterious pro skaters ever—"Oh yeah, Tom Penny is spending his time hiding out in the French countryside, he's completely over the mainstream skate industry's attention—and he's got a perfect mini ramp in a barn."

The footage of Tom in Sorry is forever, but here we are in 2025 and footage has resurfaced of Tom skating the same ramp, in the same barn, and the thing looks perfect! Check it out.

No video description and no comments—kind of adds to the mystique. Just some synth pop song and no skate sounds.

The monochrome kit, the half Cab noseslide, the effortless 360 flip to fakie—quite the soul skating session. What better way to cap it than with a signature frontside flip. Peace sign from the river rock circle. Penny will always be a mystery in the best way.

You know Tom Penny made our list for TWS' 30-year anniversary issue"

Skin Phillips shared some great Tom Penny stories on a recent podcast. That chain-to-bank session in San Diego is all-time.
