Ty Stigney and Jasper Steinbach Shine in Strangelove’s Latest Video ‘Quit While You’re Ahead’
Our friends at Strangelove just dropped a ripping new video, 'Quit While You're Ahead' on the Village Psychic YouTube channel featuring Ty Stigney and Jasper Steinback. Both of these skateboarders bring something unique to the table, making this clip an absolute banger from start to finish. Take a look:
Some of the spots these two tackle here are absolutely wild. There's a lot of crust, a lot of unique approaches and plenty of risk factor peppered into some of this terrain, but both Ty and Jasper have a way of making it all look easy. They're creativity is on full display here, to say the least. Super refreshing! You'll see.
At the same time, they're technical wizards and aren't afraid to step to some pretty heavy hubbas and handrails as well. I have a habit of calling a ton of skateboarders 'ATV killers' but these dudes are truly killing all terrain!
From roofs to crusty alleyways, construction sites and beyond, no spot is safe. And personally, I love when I watch an edit and don't see any well-known spots, you know? Spot hunting is such a huge part of skateboarding and these two clearly have an eye for it! So rad.
I love the squad that Sean Cliver and the powers that be at Strangelove have built up over the years. They might not all be household names, but they're certainly hometown heroes. And their talent is undeniable either way. Both Ty and Jasper have been killing it for a while now, too, and their constant progression and originality is really cool to see.
