WKND Strikes Again With Hilarious Skit for Nikolai Piombo's Pro Debut
Grant Yansura and the crew at WKND have done it again. As many of you know, Nikolai Piombo recently turned pro for the brand and has otherwise had quite a productive year, just in general.
But in my opinion, their latest skit to accompany Nikolai's bump to the pro ranks deserves an award in itself. Always funny, always entertaining. Take a look:
WKND skits are such a huge part of the brand's identity and I've truly never disliked one. As far as I'm concerned, they've knocked it out of the park time and time again, and this one is certainly no exception.
And as I mentioned, Nikolai has had a pretty rewarding year, all things considered. He got his name on an adidas shoe and spent most of 2024 filming for the part to accompany it (peep it below), went pro for WKND, was recently in the hot seat on The Nine Club... and although the list goes on, I guess the point is that he's stayed undeniably productive the entire time.
I hopped on his Instagram while doing this post, just to get another refresher, and there's certainly been no shortage of bangin' clips to be seen from January up until now.
The year might be ending, but this dude is obviously just getting started. And if this funny skit tells us anything, it's that a new pro part for WKND is in the works as we speak.
Getting your name on an adidas shoe is no small feat, nor is turning pro for WKND. When you spend the year traveling and truly taking advantage of that time to stack clips and stay productive, all that hard work is bound to pay off. Safe to say, it certainly has.
We might've just gotten one bangin' clip and a funny skit for now, but we can all assume his pro WKND part is going to be heavy. At any rate, congrats to Nikolai on the pro bump. Stoked to see what this dude brings to the table in 2025.
