The post read:
"ZERO is looking to hire a full-time ‘ART DIRECTOR’ to work along side of our current team. 5 years of experience in this position needed (skate industry preferred). Mastery of photoshop, illustrator & indesign is mandatory."
And they tacked on, "Please include salary requests & due to the potential amount of inquiries, replies to submissions are not guaranteed."
Like all jobs and industries, working in skateboarding has its ups and downs. But for any die-hard Zero fans out there—or hardworking artists who might be looking for something new and fresh—this is a great opportunity.
As the post mentions, they’re looking for someone with at least 5 years experience, preferrably in the skateboarding world, but honestly, there are always exceptions. I’ll tell you this—if you truly think you’d be a good fit, just apply. What’s the worst that can happen?
Zero has such an impressive history. So many timeless graphics—absolute staples in the skate world. Just think of how rad it would be to make graphics and work with the talented group of dudes who make this brand what it is?
