From the moment Braden Hoban stepped on a skateboard, he knew that was it—skateboarding was his life and nothing was going to change that. And even when he was just a kid coming up, he was completely all-in.
That drive and perseverance have opened a lot of doors for Braden over the years, and these days, he's easily one of the gnarliest dudes in the game. Rockstar recently caught up with this ripper in their latest "In Depth" episode, and we learn more about his impressive journey from hungry up-and-comer to legitimate pro. Dive in:
At this point, Hoban has become a household name and certainly isn't slowing down one bit. From the biggest contests to the heaviest street spots, he's one of the realest in the game and his talent speaks for itself. I know we often say, "the dude can do it all," but Braden seriously can.
I respect that Braden was so mindful about how the industry works at such a young age. He didn't know everything, obviously, but he knew he had to keep going for it. Eventually, it was bound to work out. And as we all know, it certainly did. We get a real sense of how invested he is in what he does—both mentally and physically—and it's pretty inspiring.
It was rad to see him revisit some childhood spots (and all the OG clips from over the years) and you just can't help but get stoked on his humble attitude.
