Habitat videos (and edits) will always hold a special place in my heart, and I know there are countless others who would agree. We've seen the brand shift and shuffle a bit over the years, but in 2025, it looks like the team is strong and the vibes are all too familiar.
Their latest video offering, NYC Days just dropped—a rad new team edit featuring Mark Suciu, Stefan Janoski, Alex Lobasyuk, Jiro Platt, Joe Batrez (AKA Chow) and Pero Simic—along with a tasteful new part from Kauê Cossa. He's stylish, he's technical, he's creative. The dude just looks good on a skateboard, and this part was a total breath of fresh air. Take a look:
Aside from Kauê, who deserves all the shine he's getting, the rest of the team brought a little something to the table here and it got me stoked. Like I said, the vibe is familiar and this undoubtedly looks and feels like a classic Habitat edit. The B-Roll. The music. The spots. It's all there.
Honestly, some of Cossa's manual maneuvers here had me pausing and rewinding a few times. The dude skates with that rare blend of power and finesse, and his deep bag of tricks is on full display throughout the entire part.
Seeing the team out in the streets, skating The Banks and all those classic NYC spots was too sick. Again, Cossa's new part was super refreshing. Can't deny his talent and I'm stoked to see him in the mix. He's a great fit. Here's to more Habitat videos in 2026.
