Pedro Delfino is the epitome of all gas, no brakes. Like many random phrases and cliches out there, they can get tiresome and worn out, but Pedro lives and breathes these four words.
I mean, seriously—have you ever seen the dude going slow? Have you ever seen him skate something that doesn’t look absolutely terrifying? If you need some proof, or perhaps just a little refresher, peep this boardslide battle below. Brace yourself, though—it’s heavy.
It’s funny because for a lot of us, a boardslide is the first trick we learn when we skate our first flatbar or whatever—in that sense, many of us are the same—but it’s safe to say a small percentage of folks ever dream of sliding an insane kinker like this.
There are a lot of “pro skaters” out there…then there’s dudes like Pedro. This is wild. This is what we want to see our favorite pros doing! This is the kind of stuff that makes you wanna throw in the towel and just take a few playful laps at the skatepark. A dream crusher! But in the best way.
Anyways, I love that Delfino makes YouTube videos, too. Most skaters like him are tough and quiet, you know? But Pedro is goofy and rad and has a ton of personality.
