When you think of Zero graphics, you probably think of the classics. The Bold, the Three Skull, the Single Skull, the Blood Skull—lots of skulls. It's worked for decades, and if you ask me, it still works today. But that doesn't mean they can't step away from that common theme and hit us with something fresh from time to time.
The brand tapped Oakland-based artist, Jesse California for its new 'Later Daze' board series and it's bringing some color to the streets... without losing that Zero grit we all admire. Dane Burman, Forrest Edwards, Adam Arunski and Tommy Sandoval got the treatment this time around, meaning there's no weak link here. Swipe through the post below for a closer look.

I'll be the first to admit I wasn't familiar with Jesse California's art. I'm not even sure if that's his real name? But the dude is talented and this series is rad. I could sound like a parrot and say it's not your average Zero graphic like I have in the past, but honestly, Zero's been taking some shots graphic-wise recently and I love to see it.
The brand's OG flavor is timeless—the staples will forever hold a place in many of our hearts—but that doesn't mean The Chief (and the rest of the squad) doesn't wanna try something new every once in a while. It is a skateboard, after all. They're fun to look at, sure, but even more fun to destroy.
In fact, did you catch what they did with the classic Blind ‘Reaper’ graphic? I don’t know about you, but I’m into it. Just another case of the dark, skull-heavy brand having some fun with their drops in 2025.
At the end of the day, Zero always brings heavy energy to the streets. We know this. The team rips and they aren't going anywhere. But drops like this prove they're still having fun in the art department all the same. Look for the 'Later Daze' series at your local shop!
